Sustainable living simple means managing our resources today such that current generations can benefit but not such that we compromise the ability of future generations also to benefit. In a climate changing world, sustainable living includes farming sustainably. To learn how the Southern Oregon University farm meets the university’s goal of promoting sustainability, SOCAN’s August monthly meeting will be a field trip to the farm at 155 Walker Avenue, Ashland to explore how its operation serves that goal.
