Sipping & Playing in Jacksonville – April 2025

HAVE YOU checked out Jacksonville Wine Country? Our town is home to nine unique and delicious wineries, each offering something special. But as a mom with two young kids (8 and 6 years old), I know that not every winery is equally kid-friendly. Since moving here four years ago, I’ve been on a mission to find spots where parents can relax with a great glass of wine—without constantly entertaining little ones.

To help fellow parents, I wanted to highlight one of Jacksonville’s family-friendly wineries: Dos Mariposas Vineyards & Lavender Farm. This newer spot, which opened in October 2022, has quickly become a favorite for families—including mine! Here’s why:
