June 4, 2020—After careful consideration and with an abundance of caution, the Rogue Valley Symphony announces the cancellation of the fall portion of their 2020-2021 season, which encompasses the planned performances in September, October, and November of 2020. RVS concerts will resume once we are confident that it is safe for our staff, musicians and our patrons to gather in person for concerts. We partner with many entities to produce our concerts. There are decisions yet to be made about the availability of rehearsal and concert spaces, social distancing requirements, and sanitation protocols. RVS will decide about the balance of the season, which would begin in January of 2021, by December.
During this challenging time, these actions represent the Rogue Valley Symphony’s hope, faith, and unwavering commitment to the future of our organization.
