Fall is quickly approaching and once again, it’s time for the annual Fall Classic Car Show in historic Jacksonville. This event, hosted by Rogue Valley Corvettes, has been attracting beautiful cars and trucks from Northern California and all over Oregon for the past twelve years. The Fall Classic brings families, fun, music, food and drinks and car enthusiasts together on September 8 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Bigham Knoll Campus.
Our show participants love being on the grassy field at the campus, which helps the cars stay cleaner and keeps the crowd cooler during the day. As we gain more experience bringing our show to Jacksonville, we are limiting our show to fewer cars to make for better viewing and less crowding on the athletic field and local streets. This year, we are limiting our show to 180 cars and trucks
The Fall Classic Car Show builds more and more momentum every year as we have been told that our event is one of the most popular in the valley. Moving to Jacksonville three years ago has completely changed the ambiance of the show due to only being several blocks away from downtown.
The purpose of the Fall Classic is to support and raise funds for SkillsUSA. Net proceeds benefit the SkillsUSA programs in Jackson, Josephine and Klamath counties. SkillsUSA is a national program to help high school students learn essential trade skills, compete for scholarships and advance to higher levels of education in varying fields. Their mission is to empower its students to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. The money that is raised from the car show helps local students travel to regional and national SkillsUSA competitions to compete for scholarships. In the past twelve years Rogue Valley Corvettes has raised approximately $100,000 for this program. We invite car show participants and the public to have a fun day at the Bigham Knoll Campus with other car enthusiasts to help raise more money for this great program.
