Poppy sculpture winner announced!
Winners Linda and Don DeWald
Jacksonville metal artist Cheryl D. Garcia has announced Don and Linda DeWald as the winners of her random drawing for a fine art poppy sculpture. Widely known for the California Poppy sculptures outside of Jacksonville, the metal artist has many artworks in public and private collections throughout the Pacific Northwest. Cheryl has been celebrating twenty years of metalworking by inviting fans of her metalwork to send in picture of themselves with her metalwork.
Having received hundreds of entries over the summer, a random drawing was made after Labor Day. Cheryl wished Don and Linda congratulations when she delivered their sculpture. Asked about the contest she said “Seeing everyone who entered enjoying my metal art has been one of the greatest gifts I could have ever asked for!”
