THANK YOU – CEMETERY CLEAN-UP DAY

Phil Baker and Bill Stanton

A very sincere thank you to all the volunteers who showed up on Saturday, May 18 to help get the cemetery grounds ready for the Memorial Day Weekend and our summer visitors. Once again we lucked out with the weather and Steve Casaleggio, Whit Parker, John Ellis, and Butch Frost worked those weed eaters on the tall grass and sweet pea. Kathy Waltz, Beverly Helvie, Phil Baker, Tom Mitchell, Christian Grensky, Tony and Joan Hess, Linda Kestner, Marjorie Edens, Bill Stanton, Pat Dahl, Ann Hinds, Elaine Witteveen, Kathy Garrett and Mary Siedlecki raked cuttingsand filled 44 bags and cleaned off grave markers. It is a major task taking care of the cemetery grounds, one we couldn’t do without all of you and the other volunteers, so please know how much we appreciate all that you do for us, the Friends and the City.
