Do you like classic cars? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, August 2, 2025, when the Southern Oregon Historical Society will be displaying “Cars through History,” between 10am and 3pm, at SOHS Hanley Farm, located at 1053 Hanley Road in Central Point, just outside of Jacksonville.

This is not just another car show! Fifty cars will be displayed by eras so guests can see and learn how automobiles have evolved over the decades. PLUS…there will be a Food Truck, Ice Cream Truck, Information Booths, Raffles, Car Trivia Games, a Pinewood Derby Track, Children’s Games with Prizes, a Photo Booth, Farmhouse Tours, our “amphibious” fire engine, and a Chance to Ride in a Model A! All this—and admission is FREE!

Anticipate fun for the whole family—and a great opportunity to enjoy or participate in a “show and shine”! If you have a car sold between 1900 and 1969, fully restored or not, you’re invited to join us. Participation is limited to 50 cars – AND, there will be goodie bags for participants!

Download a registration form at https://sohs.org/event/cars-through-history/, fill it out, and mail it to Steven Corelis, 2884 Strasburg, Medford OR, 97504, or email the form to scorelis2080@gmail.com. Car placement and setup is from 8:30am to 9:30am, depending on the year of your car. There’s no entry fee, but when you register your car at the farm, we’d welcome a $20 donation (or more, if you’d like!).

We would like to thank event co-sponsors, AAA Oregon and Lithia Motors/ Driveway, for their support and generosity!
