Taste of Summer is an annual celebration in Jacksonville presented by Britt Music & Arts Festival and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. The event includes a wine walk, live music, food booths, art, classic cars and more. This will be the second year in which selected artisans or crafters will be invited to show and sell their products.
Specifications:
Applicants must be displaying unique, handmade art, food or craft items. Preference given to crafts or wares that fit into the themes of the day, which include a celebration of summer in Jacksonville, wine, music and more. For this show, jewelry will not be included.
Selection process/procedure:
- Applications will be reviewed by the Taste of Summer committee. Committee will select up to 20 artisans/crafters to participate in the 2016 event
- Artisans interested in being selected should submit the following:

- Photos/samples of their work
- Statement about the work and why they would like to participate

- Deadline for consideration: April 11. Selected artisans will be notified by April 15. Taste of Summer is Saturday, June 4, and vendors should plan to display from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Selected applicants must be able to provide their own display booth and materials. We recommend a portable tent for coverage.
- Selected applicants must pay a $75 entry fee to the Taste of Summer, including a $10 day use business license to the City of Jacksonville.
