The 2014 schedule for Britt’s new performance garden includes a variety of musical events, including concerts by local bands, educational and participatory events for all ages, and free concerts offered in coordination with Britt’s Classical Festival, and education and engagement programs.
The Performance Garden offers a smaller, more intimate venue, seating up to 150. It is located just inside the main gates at the Britt park.
Britt President and CEO Donna Briggs says, “Nearly three years in the making, the Performance Garden will complete the vision of the Britt Board of Directors and will be a cultural cornerstone for the community, adding to our creative vitality through a wide-range of programming. Thanks to the incredible work of many, we are offering 12 confirmed programs in our first year, exceeding our inaugural year expectations.”
