The Northwest’s premier outdoor summer music festival presents performances by artists in pop, bluegrass, blues, reggae, rock, country and classical music
JACKSONVILLE, OR — The soul-inspired pop band Fitz and the Tantrums, folk legend Joan Baez, singer-songwriter Tori Amos, country rockers Montgomery Gentry, comic Brian Regan, reggae artist Matisyahu, indie darlings The Head and the Heart, blues/rock act Tedeschi Trucks Band, classic rocker Peter Frampton and pop/rock sensation The Fray are among the acts coming to Britt in the 2014 season.
Britt Festivals is a member-supported non-profit organization and the Pacific Northwest’s oldest outdoor music and performing arts festival. Set among majestic ponderosa pines and native madrones, the vast hillside estate of gold rush era pioneer Peter Britt forms a natural amphitheater of unparalleled beauty, where internationally renowned artists perform every summer. For more than 50 years, Britt’s world-class performances, spectacular views, and casual, relaxing atmosphere have attracted thousands of music lovers from all over the West.
Britt President and CEO Donna Briggs says, “Programmatically, Britt continues to be one of the Northwest’s most diverse festivals. With the addition of the new Performance Garden stage, we are looking at even more music on the hill this year. We’ll announce the full Performance Garden schedule later this spring. In total, we will be presenting more than 40 concerts this summer, ranging from such artists as country superstar Jennifer Nettles to Symphony Pops Artists Time for Three.
