Britt Festivals announces the addition of alternative rock band Wilco to the 2012 lineup. Wilco will perform on the Britt hill on Tuesday, September 25.

Wilco

Wilco’s latest album The Whole Love is the first release on its own record label, dBpm Records. The new album is the latest step in the ongoing evolution of Wilco, which singer/songwriter/guitarist Jeff Tweedy founded in 1994 after the dissolution of his previous group, alt-country standard bearers Uncle Tupelo. From its raucous roots-rock origins, Wilco has expanded its sound over the years to encompass classic pop and genre-spanning experimentalism.
