Jacksonville Boosters Dedicate Newly-Restored Britt Garden
Mayor Proclaims June 10 is Boosters Day!
Yesterday, more than 100 members of the Boosters Club joined together for a formal ribbon cutting ceremony in the newly-restored Peter Britt Gardens. The club has been working closely with the City of Jacksonville and Britt Festivals since 2010 to restore the gardens which now include new sidewalks, walkways, gardens, walls, plantings, irrigation systems and other enhancements. During the ceremony, the mayor read a proclamation naming June 10 as the city’s official Boosters Day!
