Britt announces Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be the featured artist at the “Best of Britt”, an annual summer fundraising event benefiting Britt Education & Engagement, happening Thursday, June 21, 2018.

In its sixth year, the “Best of Britt” is a popular Britt extravaganza featuring a fun-filled evening of food, spirits and music on the Britt hill. Tickets are $125 per person, and include a premium reserved seat to the concert, food from ten local restaurants, wine from ten local wineries and beer from Western Beverage. The evening is rounded out with a Live Auction of tempting packages that include special concert tickets, backstage dinners, a guitar signed by the 2017 performers and many other Britt centric offerings, plus a “paddle call,” which will help support Britt’s music education and engagement programs, including fellowships, workshops, school residencies and free children’s concerts.

As any Postmodern Jukebox fan can tell you, the experience is never the same twice, with new songs, new sounds, and new members added to the ever-growing family each time around.
PMJ originally blew up online, with new videos added weekly that keep finding creative new ways to put creator Scott Bradlee’s trademark vintage twist on modern pop hits. But it’s onstage that the project has really come to shine, playing hundreds of shows to sold-out houses across the globe, from intimate standing-room gigs to large-scale, theatrical extravaganzas.

After one recent show, MusicInsight.com raved, “Go see Postmodern Jukebox. Stop whatever you’re doing, right now, and go see them!” As the Houston Press proclaimed, “Scott Bradlee’s project has turned into a worldwide phenomenon in quite a small amount of time, having sold out shows in more than 60 countries around the world – and rightly so.”

Tickets are also available for the 2018 Britt Orchestra Season, Primus & Mastodon, Trampled By Turtles, Straight No Chaser, Rebelution and Dispatch with Nahko and Medicine for the People. More concerts in the 2018 Britt lineup will be announced on Friday, March 16 and Thursday, April 12.
