Before children began hanging stockings on Christmas Eve and leaving cookies and milk for Santa, they put out their shoes and filled them with hay, carrots, and sugar lumps for Santa’s “flying horses.” Tour Jacksonville’s historic Beekman House, 470 E. California, to learn more about the origins of our holiday traditions. Costumed docents will offer Victorian Christmas tours from 11am to 3pm on December 21-22.
