April welcomes back the much-anticipated arrival of spring and delivers vibrancy of color and possibility. Artist and Gardener, on the corner of Main and 3rd Street similarly welcomes all seasons and visitors with a delightful display of colorful local art, a wide range of tastefully-curated gifts and an absolutely lovely hidden garden boutique.
Todd Lovett and Mark Sutter are the team that has been cultivating this treasure since 2017. “Artist and Gardener is a collaborative effort—between a gardener with a love of nature, plants, flowers and animals—joined by an artist that loves to draw and paint them!”
Genuine interest and kind curiosity set the tone for any visit to this very special store. Todd’s warm greeting and beautiful way of seeing the world is reflected in his watercolor art that is found throughout this charming and intimate space.
Mark’s mindful regard of the seasons, blossoms—not only on their property, but also around our historic landmark town. His conscientious attention is evident as part of the team at the new surroundings at the Mc Cully House Inn (designed by another local artist, Laurie Sager Landscape Architect).
