Art Presence Show to Feature Beekman House Paintings
In mid-June, a dozen artists from Art Presence gathered on the lawn of the Beekman House for a plein-air painting session to capture one of Jacksonville’s historic gems on canvas. The public had the opportunity to view these oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings at a special exhibit and vote for their favorite.
On Saturday, July 21st at noon, Art Presence will exhibit all pieces at the Beekman House and offer each for sale to the public. The art sale will be held in conjunction with the Jacksonville Heritage Society’s Beekman House tours. The theme of the tours will center on the Beekman family’s world travels. 25% of all art sale proceeds will benefit the restoration and maintenance of the Beekman House.

I like history in any form. This is nice to see a part of Jacksonville’s history on canvas. Can not wait to see the painting. Thank you
The paintings and photography representing the Beekman House are all incredibly unique. It has been such a treat to see all the different interpretations of the same subject. Be sure to come on Saturday and vote for the People’s Choice.
