On Saturday, February 1, 2020, don your long johns and come help us maintain the stunning East Applegate Ridge Trail. Work at your own pace, meet new friends, develop camaraderie, get some exercise, help your community and discover what many say is the most beautiful trail in the Applegate. We meet at 9:00am and quit in time to eat lunch at the trailhead at 12:30pm. The east trailhead is just 7 miles from Jacksonville. Take Hwy 238 towards Ruch, turn left on Cady Road, turn right on Sterling Creek Road, turn right again just past the 4-mile marker to proceed to the trailhead. Directional signs make it easy to find. ATA provides tools, snacks and lunch. There are a variety of tasks for all skill levels. RSVP is always appreciated (josh@applegatetrails.org), but not required. Just show up.
Mark your calendar for these other 2020 maintenance days: Saturdays, March 7, April 4 and National Trails Day, June 6.
Thanks to all volunteers and supporters!
