This is the season when Jacksonville’s quaint authenticity is elevated to an even higher level of charm by the sights and sounds of two trolleys.
The tried-and-true Narrated History Trolley is a delightful ride around town through key architectural landmarks. This family-friendly activity is a mandatory assignment for every local and a quintessential requisite for any visitor to our historic landmark town.
This trolley also moonlights as a shuttle between the parking lot and Britt during festival season and serves as a centerpiece for private events all year round.
This summer our Chamber of Commerce celebrates the first full season of the Jacksonville Wine Trolley, which runs Friday – Sunday through the fall.
The experience of enjoying the Jacksonville Winery Association’s (JWA) 7 wineries within a mile of town is made even more enchanting with the option to visit them by way of Wine Trolley.
Passengers board the Wine Trolley downtown and are whisked into the beautiful vinous landscape. After savoring the wine, food and views of their chosen route, the Wine Trolley delivers them safe and sound back into town to explore 4 more JWA downtown tasting rooms and the lovely shops and restaurants.
Both trolleys add nostalgia and joy to any ordinary day for locals or any travel itinerary for visitors.
