EVERY SUMMER, visitors are drawn to the stunning experience that our Jacksonville area lavender farms provide during their annual festivals. The soft fragrance, the fields of fierce violet, along with the many bumblebees and butterflies, make the lavender worth celebrating.

This July, head to the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail on Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14, 10am to 5pm, and don’t forget to get your Lavender “Passport” stamped to enter a grand-prize drawing.

Each farm has different activities and events planned for lavender festival days. They include U-Cut fresh lavender bouquets, food, drinks, local artisans, wineries and live music. Check each farm’s social media page for the full details of what they have planned and see ad page 16. Admission to the festival is free and this year there are six lavender farms participating:
