Jacksonville’s GoodBean Coffee has opened a second location in East Medford at 3240 Hillcrest Park Drive, in a new business / shopping area across from RoxyAnn Winery. Mike Mahar built the new location which seats 40 inside and 24 outside. It features a raised-hearth fireplace, comfy chairs and free wi-fi. Hours are 6am to 6pm daily, phone is 541-779-6466. The new location is a joint-venture with a Mike Mahar, a premier Medford developer who wants Oregon’s best coffee in their high-end retail and commercial area. Mike Kell, Founder and Owner of GoodBean with his wife, Mary states, “Mary and I just couldn’t say no to working with such quality partners…we have our wonderful friends and customers to thank and are thrilled with the eastside coffee house.”
GoodBean is also excited to announce that in August, they won a Gold award for the second year in a row at the 2011 Best Coffee in Oregon Championships in Salem! The 2011 Championship sported a field of the state’s finest coffee purveyors. The competition was formidable including a great showing by Mellelo and Oregon Mountain, who shared the medal platform. 90% of the participants were from the Portland/Willamette area.
folks……today i discovered your north phoenix road coffee shop…..it is really lovely and is a great location for the east side of town…….i have a personal request and that is …….no one in the entire rogue valley has considered a cinammon bun without white sugary icing on top.
i love cinammon buns and hate the added unnecessary icing…i love the yeasty bun and hate the icing……..it would be nice to have a choice……..am i the only one?
also, i feel your prices are high………if i am right , you will not last, if i am wrong , you will do very well………..remember, this is a recession………….however, you have the best location. thanks again for risking a coffee shop in that area……..and so beautiful, congratulations
