Britt Festivals Gets Off to a Jumpin’ Great Start!

A Pre-Concert Band Plays at the new Table Rock City Cafe

If you missed the opening of Britt Saturday or Sunday, you missed a treat! Britt Festivals has totally re-vamped the Britt Hill with new concessions, a cafe to eat the variety of new food (with band pre-show entertainment), new walkways and a totally cleaned-up feel.

You can keep the hill green by buying a new, PBA-free, refillable wine bottle for $10. Fill it on the hill from a variety of 12 new wineries or use it to bring your own (it’s a lot lighter and cuts down the trash haul off the hill).

Michael Franti was a total kick…not sure what we were expecting, but he was terrific. He started off the concert wearing a Britt “Event Staff” shirt and played on a small stage located above the reserved seats in the middle of the crowd. We stood and danced for the entire concert, and I have never seen so much jumping and arm waving from hundreds of people – he was FUN!
