Jacksonville Review – April 2026
IN THE ROGUE VALLEY, we are surrounded by beauty as springtime unfolds in our hills, forests, and gardens. Jacksonville Garden Club members are well known for making interesting and creative arrangements from the array of beautiful spring flowers, which they then offer at their annual spring sale, to be held this year on Saturday, May 9, from 9am-2pm. The sale location is in downtown Jacksonville in the alcove next to the Post Office. Arrangements are available in a range of sizes and prices—for Mother’s Day or a nice gift to a friend or for yourself. Plants, baked goods and treats, as well as lovely handmade cards, all made by Club members, will also be available.
Funds raised go to support education for local students. In addition, the Club’s funds and its members’ volunteer energies support local beautification projects at the Peter Britt Garden, the Jacksonville Community Center, Scheffel-Thurston Park, the Jacksonville Police Station and Post Office, and Doc Griffin Park. Visit the Spring Sale on May 9 and bring home some spring beauty while contributing to a good cause!
