Chamber Chat – February 2026
ONCE AGAIN, we had an amazing Holiday Season here in our Historic Landmark Town of Jacksonville. The December events including the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Father Christmas, Holiday Parade and Holiday Trolley Light Tours all had record attendance. Thanks to the many individuals and groups that make these events such a success. This is truly a testament to our city leaders, businesses, residents, sponsors, non-profit groups, volunteers and attendees.
Last Year’s dedicated work and promotions is coming to fruition. Just in the past few months, we’ve been recognized as the #1 Oregon Town for a Hallmark Movie by Exotica Travel magazine, one of 50 of the most charming Small Towns in America by HGTV and listed as a “wine soaked” Oregon City among “unique” travel destination for 2026 by Forbes magazine.
All three accolades highlight our beautiful natural setting, living history, vibrant live music scene, abundant art, boutique shopping, exceptional dining and world class wines. Jacksonville blends past and present in ways the reward curious travelers year-round. Cozy cafes, intimate lodging and walkable streets make it easy to stay and play.
