JACKSONVILLE, OR — With its second season announcement for 2019, Britt Music & Arts Festival is adding a variety of popular music artists to the summer Music & Comedy line-up with several returning artists and a couple of new bands for the Britt audiences. The first concert from this set of concerts features Jim James, of My Morning Jacket fame, co-billed with The Claypool Lennon Delirium on June 28. Two nights later, Lyle Lovett and his Large Band returns once again with his lush, country flavored big band. Britt fan favorite Michael Franti & Spearhead returns for the 14th straight season on Tuesday, July 2. Friday, July 5, Britt presents Umphrey’s McGee, an instrumentally intricate and entertaining rock band, for the first time. Later in July, the incredible dynamic duo of acoustic guitars, Rodrigo y Gabriela, bring their unique brand of guitar wizardry back to the Britt main stage. Finally in this announcement, Britt welcomes another Britt fan favorite from down under – John Butler Trio+, with rising artist Trevor Hall opening the show. Also included with this announcement, concert-only tickets for Kris Kristofferson will be made available for Member pre-sale and general public sales following the schedule below.

Britt has changed its announcement schedule. Instead of announcing all of the concerts in April, Britt is providing three announcements: one each in February, March and April. This announcement schedule is designed to make it easier for patrons to plan their summer entertainment. The final Britt season announcement revealing artists for the 2019 Britt Music & Comedy Season will occur on Thursday, April 11 beginning at 5:45 p.m.
