Joe Surges, owner of The Carefree Buffalo in Jacksonville, Oregon is hosting  an incredible William Henry Custom Knife Show on July 27, 28 and 29 from 10 am to 5 pm. Anyone who has been into Joe’s store, knows  he’s passionate about these world-class knives! The show features world renowned William Henry Studio from Northern Oregon. Items featured for sale are from their Legendary Limited Edition Award-wining pocket knives to their exquisite money clips, gorgeous fountain and ceramic roller ball pens and unique golf divot tools.

William Henry creates a range of tools so perfectly conceived and executed that they transcend superlative function to become superlative art. William Henry instruments offer unmatched performance as daily carry tools and are also found among the finest collections in the world.  Advanced engineering and innovative artistry are blended together to create heirloom tools of incredible beauty and function.  Their products are made in exclusive small editions and are equivalent to the finest watches ever made.

The frames and blades are created from aerospace grade titanium, rare military aluminum and metals or the ancient art form of Damascus steel.  Their Damascus steel is created by several talented artisans from around the United States and is comprised of up-to hundreds of metal alloy layers hand-forged into stunning metal tapestries which create masterful geometric designs for their blades and frames.  A single blade or frame takes several months to create.  To embellish each piece, there are accents of numerous beautiful exotic woods or rare fossils of wooly mammoth tooth, wooly mammoth bone and fossil walrus tusk ivory.  All of these elements will  be on display for viewing and inspection during this show.

New product releases on display include hand-engraved stainless steel and 24 k gold frames by some of the finest engravers in the world.  The hand-engraving is so detailed that an artisan can spend several hundred hours engraving with binocular microscopes to create a single knife frame design. Each piece takes more than seven months to produce, incorporating the work of more than 30 artisans across 800 individual operations.
