Hold on to your hats unless you’re willing to have them blown off! Our new director, Hope Harrison, choral director of 285 kids at Hedrick and Mcloughlin middle schools, has brought new energy and excitement to our musicians, and we are eager to share that with our concert-goers. Repertory includes the hauntingly beautiful “A Celtic Blessing,” selections from “Cats” and “Pippin,” several ballads, and the rousing, foot-stomping “Russian Picnic.” Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies” and Harrison’s own Armenian lullaby will also be performed, among others. No one will leave the concert uninspired! Concert venues and times are Friday, April 7, 2017, 7:00pm, at the Historic Presbyterian Church, 405 E California Street, Jacksonville, and Sunday, April 9, 2017, 3:00pm, Applegate River Lodge, 15100 Hwy 238 in Applegate. Concerts are free of charge. Donations are greatly appreciated!
