The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce has done a great job with Victorian Christmas this year!

Thanks go to Terri Gieg for organizing this annual event, Jim Oakes for being our wonderful Santa (again!), Horse Larry Smith as Town Crier, Feather Farms B&B for donating the huge Christmas Tree, tons of volunteers caroling, roasting chestnuts and offering coffee and cider and tours of the Beekman House, the merchants for decorating their fantastic shops and businesses and donating money to allow for FREE horse-drawn Carriage Rides!

Fun Horse-drawn carriage rides in Jacksonville!

The horses are owned and operated by Del & Suzanne Hawley. They are 21 year-old Belgians who met when they were 6 months old ( Tom was from Red Bluff and Curt from Canada). They are a great team – and best friends. They eat 40 pounds of food per day, and are primarily retired, except for these activities. The carriage ride is so much fun!
