Savor Southern Oregon in Portland

North met south at this year’s Savor Southern Oregon event when four Portland chefs teamed up with farmers and fisherman from the southern part of the state to create unique, seasonal bites. The culinary partnerships are a result of Farm to Fork’s Food Court Program, which made its debut at Savor Southern Oregon in Portland, Sept. 16 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Director Park.

“The Food Court is a project intended to bridge Oregon’s north-south divide, connecting southern Oregon farmers and fishermen with Portland’s celebrity chefs,” saidFarm to Fork Co-Founder Matthew Domingo. “Not only do guests get to see these chefs at work, but they will also have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the farmers and fishermen who provided the ingredients – a true farm-to-table experience.”
