MACBETH By William Shakespeare

The Crater Renaissance Academy Performing Arts block (Digging Deep in Shakespeare) has been working since September on the play Macbeth. Every student has worked on this production by developing their characters, and designing the shows lights, sound, hair and makeup, costume, marketing, and developing their characters. The students of the Performing Arts block have done it all!

Join us in this Shakespearean tragedy, Macbeth, which shows us what guilt, revenge, thirst for bloodshed and desire for power can do to humanity. Macbeth (Jordan Storms) is led astray by his wife, Lady Macbeth (Hannah Pingel) and is manipulated to kill King Duncan (Alex Shadle) in order to gain power. Murder, treason, love, suicide, battle, witches, and justice all in an hour and a half show, June 5th-7th with a matinee on Saturday at 2PM and regular showings at 7PM. The play will be in a “Black-Box” theatre on stage so seats are more limited than usual. Buy your $5 ticket at the door.

We would like to give an extreme thank you to Orion Bradshaw for his contribution towards this class in his guidance towards every actor/actress working on stage. If it weren’t for him, Matthew Reynolds, and the assistant director, Bailey Hilkey, we wouldn’t be able to put on this show. We hope to see you there!
