John Michael Champagne Cellars, established in 1991, the second winery open to the public in the Applegate Valley, has moved its tasting room to its winery site at 14225 Humbug Creek Road, Applegate, Oregon. The winery features gourmet organic, local, non-GMO and gluten-free foods that pair well with their award-winning champagnes and still wines. The tasting room is a family-friendly, relaxed environment. Currently, discounted case prices for their premium varietal still wines are available.
The tasting room hours are 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday-Sunday, from May through December. The winery is also available for weddings and events. Starting August 25th, come-out for family Outdoor Movie Nights on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and enjoy cartoons and family movies. Popcorn, snow cones, hand-made pizza and assorted goodies will be available. Feel free to bring a blanket and/or chairs and remember that no outside food or beverages are allowed.
