In mid-April, the Jacksonville Woodlands trail system will be used as a stage for L.L. Bean’s fall clothing catalogue photo shoot. Founded in 1912 in Freeport, Maine, the famous mail order, online and retail establishment sells outdoor clothing, footwear, gear and much more. The 2-day photo shoot will require a crew of five, including two actors carrying backpacks, tents and other items to be featured in the fall catalogue. No outdoor lighting or tripods will be used during the shoot. City Administrator Jeff Alvis noted that L.L. Bean received approval to utilize the Sara Zigler, Jackson Creek, Jackson Forks and Petard Mining Ditch Trails.
