Join us for a guided hike in Jacksonville’s Forest Park to be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 beginning at 8:30 am.  This is the second hike in a series of 5 this season, all held on the third Monday of the month and sponsored by the Jacksonville Parks and Recreation Committee. Take a right turn onto Reservoir Road off Highway 238 as it heads out of Jacksonville.  Drive to Parking Area 4 (P-4) to meet our leaders for the hike, Rob and Lori Buerk.  This moderate hike will begin on Cantrall Creek Trail, which is graced by many small waterfalls over granite bedrock during wet months.  It will continue with a view loop on the Halls of Manzanita Trail which tunnels through old growth manzanita for a total of 3 to 3 1/2 miles.  For further information contact Kandee McClain at mnkmcclain@gmail.com
