In honor of the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act, each state is making a short video to highlight the importance of this act, and the archaeological research that it has supported. The Jacksonville Chinese Quarter site has been chosen to represent the important archaeological work happening in the state of Oregon! In preparation for the video, we are looking for anyone who might have taken some footage or snapped some good shots of the excavation in progress. If you have anything that you would be willing to contribute to the project, please let us know! For reference, the Chinese Quarter excavation was the one along Main Street behind La Fiesta. Thanks for your help, and look for the video in the spring of 2016! ~CHELSEA ROSE, SOULA
