Art opening on Saturday, Sept 1st from 5-7 at the Good Bean in Jacksonville.  There will be appetizers, wine and music.   The exhibit is called “Who Has the Time?” and is based on the concept of how time affects our lives.  There will be eight abstract paintings in the exhibit of mixed media.

Cammy is an artist from Seattle who moved here recently to care-take her grandmother, and she decided to make Jacksonville her home.  The same weekend as the opening, she will take part in Jacksonville Celebrates the Arts (for which she did the promotional image) and the Art Presence wine-themed exhibit (taking place every weekend in September at the Art Presence Art Center in the Old Jail).

The Jacksonville Review is excited to present Cammy’s wonderful map of Jacksonville, Oregon – which debuts in the September 2012 issue!

Cammy will have necklaces and cards with images of the Time exhibit for sale at the opening.  Visit her website: http://www.cammydavis.com for more information about her original art and wearable art.

The exhibit will hang at the Good Bean through the month of September.  Local pianist Kalea Hammond will play jazz at the opening.  Co-sponsors for the event will be Art Presence Art Center and Jacksonville Review.
