2017 Meet the Merchants of Jacksonville

The Stories Behind the Storefronts

What makes Jacksonville so special? Is it the history, the natural setting, the small town feel? No matter your answer, one thing is clear: the people here are wonderful—including our downtown merchants who operate quaint, unique and charming shops that add vitality and richness to our community.

In this December 2017/January 2018 issue, the Review is honored to present our 2017 holiday “shop local” section, with interesting vignettes telling the story of Jacksonville’s favorite shopkeepers!

This holiday season, (and all year) when you shop in downtown Jacksonville, your dollars stay in-town and help support Victorian Christmas and other town-wide events during the year. A thriving business community is good for all of us!

The Review wishes to extend a very special “thank you” to Terry and Paula Erdmann (our wonderful “Unfettered Critics”) for researching and preparing this inspiring merchant series.

Happy Holidays!
